From the Balloon we move to the Palace Sites of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Terrace of the Elephants, and Preah Khan.

The team enjoys lunch back in the air-conditioned comfort of Siem Reap before returning to the Angkor Heritage Park in the afternoon.

Take the short ride back to the Angkor Heritage Park to spend several hours touring the largest religious construction in the world, the Angkor Wat Temple.

Angkor Wat is visually, architecturally, and artistically breathtaking. It is a massive three-tiered pyramid crowned by five beehive-like towers. The visual impact of Angkor Wat, particularly on one’s first visit, is awesome.

Our tour of Angkor Heritage Park concludes with an elephant ride up Phnom Bakheng (Phnom Means Mountain or Hill). Bakheng’s hilltop location makes it the most popular sunset location in the area, offering a view of the Tonle Sap Lake and a distant Angkor Wat in the jungle.
